Another Cold Night from the High Plains through the Mountains May 19, 2017

Another cold night is ahead from the High Plains into the Four Corners region. A Frost Advisory continues for another night in most of North Dakota, with a Freeze Warning in the south central sections of the state. Freeze Warnings have also been issued for the Front Range of Colorado into Northern New Mexico. Low temperatures tonight will once again fall into the 30s from the Northern Plains through the Four Corners.

30s were widespread this morning from North Dakota and Montana into Northern New Mexico. With snow falling in Colorado and Wyoming, the thermometer was stuck in the 30s all day.

A strong area of high pressure is spread from the Upper Midwest and throughout most of the West. It will bring a clearing sky, light winds, and cold temperatures tonight. Sunshine will warm readings into the 50s in most areas for Saturday afternoon.
