A "Kona Low" is lining up to bring a multi-day stretch of impactful weather to Hawaii. This comes after 2 major Kona Low events in March that brought destructive flooding and record rainfall. Flood alerts and winter alerts are in place across the Hawaii Islands. Heavy rainfall can lead to flooding in some areas affected by the March events.

Flood alerts remain in place through Friday evening. Heavy & excessive rainfall can lead to significant flooding. Road closures and property damage can be possible.
Winter alerts are in place through Friday morning. Snowfall totals can reach up to 6 inches, and ice up to .25" is possible along the Big Island summits. 
The Kona Low will bring heavy rain over the next few days, with some tapering off on Saturday.
