The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities have completed their tornado surveys. On Monday evening, severe storms across central Minnesota produced at least four tornadoes. The hardest hit communities were the town on Watkins, and Litchfield Minnesota. After completion of the assessment, the National Weather Service has rated both tornadoes that struck Litchfield, and Watkins, an EF-2 rating.

The Litchfield, Minnesota tornado had max winds of 115-mph. The length of the tornado was 1 mile and a max width of 150 feet. The Watkins, Minnesota tornado had max winds of 125-mph. It had a length of 2 miles and a width of 600 feet. Fortunately, only one minor injury was reported with these tornadoes.
