California State University Fullerton with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Jessica was born and raised in the Los Angeles, California area. While in college and after graduation, Jessica worked as a reporter at Channel 3 News in Garden Grove, CA. She was a freelancer as a News Show Host and Red Carpet Reporter for Time Warner in El Segundo, CA. Jessica became interested in weather after being part of “The Audition” KTLA Morning News Weathercaster competition. Jessica did not win but knew she wanted to work in weather from that day forward. She joined WeatherNation and is pursuing her second Bachelor’s in Meteorology at Mississippi State University.
Outside of weather, she loves time with her husband, three cats, two birds and dog. Yes, it is a zoo at their house! She also loves getting together with family and friends when she can and of course shopping. She’s from L.A. what can she say?!
