A pair of slow moving low pressure systems will be the culprits for the snow. The low in the Northern Plains moving from North Dakota into Ontario will have a brisk breeze along with the heavy snow, creating blowing and drifting snow issues.
The snow will diminish in the Upper Midwest on Wednesday, but will continue across the mountains of the West through mid-week.
