Another Round of Fresh Snow, Grab Your Coat for Next Week

The most recent system moving through Wyoming and Colorado dropped 5″ of snow in Cheyenne, WY.  Many other areas reported 1″ to 3.”

With a decent base already on many of the mountains, some of the ski resorts are already open for business.

After this system passes, the temperatures will be dropping as the skies clear.  The areas shaded in blue are under a Freeze Watch for tomorrow morning.

Storms possible this afternoon in Central Texas.  The main concern would be for large hail.

Throughout the weeks ahead, the temperatures will remain cool for much of the country.

Well below average temperatures expected for the eastern two thirds of the nation through the end of October.

Happy Friday!
