Baby, It’s Going to Get Cold Outside
We are a week away from Christmas and most of the country is running 5 to 15 degrees above average.
A major dip in the jet stream will allow all the cold, arctic air to move south into the United States later this week. So enjoy the warmer temperatures while they last because the cold is coming.
By the end of the week, a blast of arctic air will engulf majority of the country.
Many places will be well above average then drop drastically into the 20s and teens for highs.
By the end the weekend, many people will be waking up to NEGATIVE single digits and that doesn’t even factor in wind chills.
Enjoy these last few days of warmer temperatures before the bitter cold arrives and no one wants to leave their home.
