We have talked about the Christmas forecast for the Lower 48 over the past few days, but we don’t want to forget about the forecast for Alaska and Hawaii.
Alaska Christmas Forecast
Temperatures will actually very mild heading into the holiday weekend for Alaska, but those warmer than average temperatures will be short-lived as the cold air returns by Monday.
The precipitation chances are looking very low throughout the entire state on Christmas day. Maybe some isolated flurries, but no major snow accumulation is in the forecast.
Hawaii Christmas Forecast
Talk about the complete opposite forecast compared to Alaska! Whoa! Hawaii will have high temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s for the holiday.
The one wrench in the forecast for Christmas day could be some light rain chances…especially for the Big Island by Monday afternoon. Other than that, it will be picture perfect weather for the Hawaiian islands.
