College Season Begins from Coast to Coast

30 Sep 2017, 2:09 pm

Fall is the season for leaves changing, pumpkin patches, and high school students searching for colleges to apply to.

Students arrive at a college fair in Highlands Ranch, Colorado on Saturday morning.

This Saturday, College Fairs of Greater Denver hosted an In-State and Out-of-State College Fair and Workshops at Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch.

College admissions representatives from state and private universities across the country spoke with students and parents about future career paths and college plans.

Booths set up from colleges, universities, and technical schools from coast to coast.

Our very own Meteorologist Meredith Garofalo was there representing her alma mater, Valparaiso University, which is located in Northwest Indiana.  Garofalo talked about her path to obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and the important role her college education and experience played in becoming an on-air meteorologist.
