It was a deadly day of severe weather Tuesday. About two dozen tornadoes were reported across five states.

Authorities confirm one person was killed and as many as 25 others were injured after a tornado hit a mobile home park in western Wisconsin Tuesday evening. The Barron County Sheriff described the scene as “total destruction. First responders could hear people yelling for help when they arrived on scene.
According to our affiliate KOKH in Oklahoma City one person was killed as a tornado ripped through western Oklahoma. Just after 7:15 p.m. a rain-wrapped tornado moved through Beckham County hitting the town of Carter and southeastern Elk City.
The Elk City Fire Department confirms that several homes were damaged and about two dozen people were taken to the hospital. Beckham County Emergency Management estimates that 40 homes suffered major damage in Elk City.
Tornadoes were also reported in north Texas and central Kansas.
