It’s back to reality across the East as a couple of cold fronts push the 90 degree temperatures (and daily records) away. Before that though, we felt another round of those 90’s Friday.

One cold front has already moved through Thursday, another one is on the way for Friday into early Saturday. This next cold front will be dropping just about due south from the Great Lakes and Northeast and may even push as far south as Florida this weekend.

Watch as temperatures across the East drop as we enter October.

It looks like the heat is going to turn right back on next week across the East though, as another strong bubble of high pressure will build and those temperatures will climb.

The West has a higher chance of cooler than average temperatures for next week into next weekend (the 4th to 7th of October) while the East has an even higher chance of *above* average temperatures.
