Even More Rain, Hurricane Carlotta, Father’s Day Weekend Forecast
More Rain on the Way

Now today and into the weekend, some of those same areas will get another dose of heavy rain.
Map above indicating rainfall totals over the next 3 days. Pockets of heavy rain possible in central and into southeastern MN. The best chance for severe storms today will include the western portion of the Central Plains.
Marathon Forecast: Not Ideal
Thousands of people will descend upon the town of Duluth, MN this weekend for Grandma’s Marathon.
Most of the state will be dealing with showers and possibly some storms tomorrow and that could be impacting the Duluth Area as well. Typical high this time of the year is around 70 with overnight lows in the upper 40s. This year won’t be too far off from that but the soggier conditions will make the run even more challenging. Rain could be heavy at times with storms possible. Accumulated rainfall totals in some spots could exceed 1 inch.
Not much relief from the wet weather in the week ahead!
Recently formed Hurricane Carlotta is spinning off the west coast of Mexico and approaching the Acapulco.
Nor rain yet but it will be in Acapulco by the end of the weekend and continue into early next week.
Father’s Day Weekend Forecast
Storm threat shifts into to Kansas. Scattered storms also possible into the upper Midwest. Staying dry in the Northeast and cooler down a bit in the Northwest.
Heating up in the Central Plains. High pressure moves into the upper Midwest, providing some relief from the wet weather.
