Five ‘Can’t Miss’ Locations to See Fall Foliage This Weekend

Aspen, Colorado

Named after a tree, you know it has to be good! Hurry to the Colorado Rockies because colors peak by the end of the month.

The Catskills, New York

This area becomes most vibrant in the fall, as the colors begin changing during the last two weeks of September. With 35 mountain peaks over 3,500 feet and beautiful riverscapes, it’s a hiker’s dream.

Columbia River Gorge, Oregon

Come mid-September, the border between Washington and Oregon lights up. Try to get your hiking or rafting trip in before mid-October, as the leaves will begin to fall.

Green Mountain Byway, Vermont

Take a drive through the heart of the state and take in the beautiful display of maple and birch trees. Things will start becoming more vibrant toward the end of the September.
