Flash Flood Watches from the Central Plains to the Front Range
High humidity and a stalled front are helping to produce numerous showers and thunderstorms from the Central Plains to the Front Range. Dew points have been climbing into the tropical levels in the 70s. With the front showing little movement, it has been producing numerous showers and thunderstorms over the same area. This may lead to flooding on over-saturated ground.
A Flash Flood Watch continues from Colorado Springs to the Texas Panhandle. Rainfall totals of 2″ to 4″ are possible into this weekend.
Flash Flood Watches also have been issued in parts of Iowa, Illinois, Missouri and Nebraska. Rainfall totals may reach up to 3″ in the heaviest storms.
