Intense rain and thunderstorms, coupled with ground that was already saturated, have caused significant flash flooding in the DFW Metroplex. The majority of the flooding issues have been reported in Tarrant County, including the City of Fort Worth and Arlington.

Preliminary reports from the National Weather Service in Fort Worth indicate that up to 4 inches of rain — in one hour — fell in parts of the Metroplex.

Here’s a list of the highest one hour totals from today:

• 4″ in Saginaw
• 2.5″ near Grapevine
• 2.04″ in Trophy Club
• 1.5″ in Watauga

Below are a collection of images, of the flooding, from social media.
