Heavy rain has been falling in the Southern Plains and Ozarks and flooding concerns extend into the Tennessee Valley. A Flash Flood Watch continues in Tennessee and Arkansas as heavy rain will likely continue to fall over the area.
Rainfall totals may exceed 3″ this afternoon and evening from near the Arklatex to Nashville. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to diminish this afternoon.
