Cold air continues to push through the northern and northwestern part of the country tonight and Wednesday morning.  Parts of the Dakotas and Nebraska will be under Freeze alerts through Wednesday morning.

Freeze warnings for NW South Dakota and SW North Dakota for the threat of temperatures in the upper 20s and low 30s.  These temperatures are cold enough to kill garden crops and outdoor plants. SW South Dakota and NW Nebraska is under a Freeze Watch late Tuesday and early Wednesday morning.  Temperatures are expected to be in the low 30s and this could kill some outdoor plants.  There are also Frost Advisories for north central South Dakota with low temperatures likely in the low to mid 30s.  This means that frost will occur during the morning hours Wednesday and there could be some damage to temperature sensitive vegetation.

Definitely protect those plants and stay warm!
