A brisk start to the work week for the northeast with near freezing temperatures expected.
There are frost advisories and freeze warnings in place for parts of Vermont, New York, New Hampshire, and Maine for Sunday night into Monday morning.
The coldest temperatures are expected to be within northern New Hampshire and interior Maine where temperatures will dip to near 32 degrees.
The biggest impacts from this will be the frost and impacts to crops and vegetation. Sensitive plants may be damaged or killed because of the cold temperatures. To protect plants, cover them with cloth or tarps to insulate. You can also bring potted plants inside to protect them from the cold.
Chilly temps may also impact your overnight and Monday morning. Perhaps an extra blanket on the bed and a jacket to take the dog for a walk in the morning.
