Frosty Tuesday Morning in the East

16 Oct 2017, 4:05 pm

Autumn is in the air!  Thanks to a passing cold front and a clear sky, temperatures are expected to take a tumble overnight into Tuesday morning.  The chill will be felt across much of the Northeast, Great Lakes, Ohio Valley, Appalachians, and parts of the Southeast.

Low temperatures will bottom out in the 30s and 40s for most of the above mentioned regions. A few spots may dip into the upper 20s.

Those chilly conditions will lead to some patchy frost….the first of the season for many.

So make sure you pick those late-season vegetables from your gardens, cover or bring in any sensitive plants, and keep your pets in a warm place.  Keep it tuned to WeatherNation and follow our Facebook page or Twitter account for the latest weather forecasts.  Welcome to Fall!
