Heavy Rain for the Northeast Wednesday

25 Oct 2017, 8:59 am

A cold front moving through the Northeast Wednesday will stall out and proved the focus for showers and thunderstorms.  This is the same cold front that brought heavy rain to the Northwest last week and the severe weather over to the Great Plains, Gulf Coast and Mid-Atlantic states over the weekend…the same cold front!

Timing

Weather Threats

The heavy rainfall could lead to some areas of flash flooding…especially those areas that have already seen the heavy rain.  Here is the latest rainfall forecast.

Parts of the northeastern Maine could see over 4 inches of rain through Friday morning.

The rain will clear out for the weekend, but more rain chances are in the forecast for early next week.
