Heavy snow fell across areas of New York and Pennsylvania this week – check out some snow totals. This has been a record-breaking event. Take Binghamton, New York for instance. The city broke its one-day and two-day snow records for the month of April!
We still have some power outages in the Northeast due to the heavy snow and ice weighing down the power lines. Please be careful if you need to head out during the cleanup.
Colder air has dropped into the Northeast with morning temperatures at or below freezing the last couple of days. If you’ve already planted and started the growing season, be sure to check the forecast low temperatures to see if you need to cover up plants or take them inside.
Temps do improve through the end of the work week – most areas will see highs near average into this weekend.
