A feed of moisture from the Pacific Ocean will keep the snow falling across most of the west, especially in the mountains where 2 to 3 feet may accumulate this weekend. The Cascades and areas around Glacier National Park will see the highest totals, with Winter Storm Warnings continuing. Near the coast, several inches of rain my fall that could produce flooding. Flood Watches have been issued from Seattle to Portland.
As moisture continues to stream into the region from the Pacific, a series of low pressure systems will ride along a stalled front. Snow will remain heavy into Saturday, with rain west of the Cascades.
