Clouds and cooler weather have settled into the Houston area over the last few days as a front has moved into the Gulf of Mexico. Temperatures have been below average with the lack of sunshine.
The cooler readings will stick around tonight and into Saturday as the front remains to the south and cloudiness continues over Eastern Texas.
On Sunday, the wind will begin to shift to the south, bringing in warmer temperatures. Humidity will increase as well with the moist, southerly wind. Some showers are possible, aided by a trough to the north. Tailgaters will see highs in the 70s in the afternoon.
Little weather change is expected throughout the game. Clouds will be around with some mixed sunshine. Temperatures will slowly slide out of the 70s and into the 60s through the evening.
The warmer weather is expected to stick around into next week, with highs reaching to around 80. The week ahead looks mainly dry.
