Hurricane Force Winds Batter Washington State
Tens of thousands of homes are still without power. Power was Knocked out and trees downed as winds reached 127 mph in areas.

According to Puget Sound Energy, crews are making steady progress restoring power to customers impacted by strong winds that have pounded much of our service area since early this morning. In some cases, crews are restoring customers only to have new outages occur.
Widespread outages currently across: Island, Skagit and Whatcom counties. Power has been restored to large portions of Bainbridge Island.
