Hurricane Irma Winds Snap Crane Boom in Downtown Miami

Strong winds caused by Hurricane Irma hit downtown Miami, Florida, on Sunday, September 10, causing a crane boom to snap and collapse.

The Miami Herald reported two firefighters saw the boom snap at 300 Biscayne Blvd. The boom was still connected to the crane’s tower by cable, and was hanging partially over the building’s side. No Injuries were reported.
