Hurricane, Tropical Storm Watch Issued For Texas Coast Ahead of Harvey
A Hurricane Watch and Tropical Storm Watch has been issued along the Texas coast ahead of Harvey.
Tropical Depression Harvey is currently in the southwest Gulf of Mexico and is moving northwest at 9 mph.

Harvey has maximum sustained winds of 35 miles per hour and a minimum central pressure of 1006 mb.
The National Hurricane Center expects Harvey become a tropical storm sometime Wednesday.
It will continue to move northwest and is currently expected to make landfall on the Texas coast by the weekend.
