Labor Day Severe Weather Threat

3 Sep 2017, 3:16 pm

As you fire up the grills one last time this Labor Day to mark the unofficial end to summer, the threat of severe weather still persists for those along the Ohio River Valley Monday.

The reason for the stormy end to your summer is all due to a cold front that will make its way through the Upper Midwest and East Coast over the next several days. Large hail, damaging winds, and a slim chance for a possible tornado can’t be ruled out for Monday and Tuesday as this system tracks to the east.

Behind the cold front, we will see more fall-like temperatures return to the Upper Midwest and along the East Coast for the upcoming week.
