Last Weekend Before the Fall Equinox
This weekend will be great to look at some leaves changing color, but you may want to wait until the official start of fall. This is the last weekend before the fall equinox comes into play on September 22, 2016.
For some of us across the nation, we will be dealing with rain showers and storms coming in from a passing cold front.
Behind the front, we are dealing with some cooler temperatures– prepping us for the new start of fall.
This is the time of year where we lose the most amount of sunlight per day. Starting on the first day of fall, there will be more dark than daylight across the northern hemisphere.
So soak up the sun now and enjoy the crisp air while it lasts! Some higher elevations have already observed their first snowfall.
