Late Season Snow Continues to Fall in the West
Snow continues to fall across the West as a late season storm system brings accumulations to the region. Winter Storm Warnings extend from the Bitterroots to the Rockies, with a Winter Storm Watch into the Front Range of Wyoming. More than a foot of snow is likely in the higher elevations.
The storm system will move slowly through the West today into Thursday. Snow will spread from Montana and Idaho into Nevada, Wyoming, Utah and Colorado.
As the low pressure center moves out into the Plains, the snow will be confined mainly into Wyoming and Colorado. Heavy snow will fall through the Rockies into the foothills of the Front Range. The system will shift east Friday afternoon and snowfall will come to an end.
