The Midwest is Wanting this Rain, Rain to Go Away.

A nearly stationary cold front is causing some issues across the central portion of the United States. Since Sunday, October 1st, rain has been falling at times for places like Minneapolis. The front has been stretching from northern Minnesota all the was south through southern Colorado. Phillipsburg in northern Kansas picked up almost 5″ of rain in 24 hours.

All this rain has also set new records for daily rainfall. St. Cloud, MN received over an inch and a half on Monday.

All this rain caused flash flooding in areas of Kansas too.

The front will start to move eastward but places like Duluth and into eastern Minnesota could get a couple more inches before it completely moves out by the second half of the day.
