More Moisture Ahead for the West
A series of storm systems will affect the West this week with more rain and snow on the way. Flood Watches have been issued in parts of the Pacific Northwest. By the end of the week, some areas will see more than 3″ of rain and up to a foot of snow.
A brisk breeze will be blowing across the region. Some gusts to 60 mph will likely occur. A High Wind Warning has been issued for the Shasta Valley into the Rogue Valley in California.
A low pressure center will push into the coast this evening, bringing the first round of rain and wind. The system will slide slowly to the east Wednesday as rain and snow will spread through the Cascades into California. A weaker system will slide into the Pacific Northwest Thursday night into Friday, bringing another round of moisture.
