A pilot got an incredible view of a Montana wildfire Wednesday.

North of TFR, headed south east. Seeley lake on the nose of aircraft.

The view is from the Rice Ridge Fire that is approximately 6,857 acres.

Above and away from TFR, headed south towards Helena. Look closely as you can see a Scooper hitting Seeley lake. Sorry a little bumpy as these fires create their own weather.

The video shows footage of the fire from the Seeley Lake area.

An evacuation warning was issued on August 1 for residents on both sides of Highway 83 south of Rice Ridge Road to Morrell Creek and south of Cottonwood Lakes Road east of Highway 83, including the town of Seeley Lake and Double Arrow Ranch.

The fire was said to have started from lightning.

Flying north towards Kalispell, you're looking at the Rice Ridge fire, north of Seeley.
