As of Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service said rainfall totals of up to nine inches were coming in across the Kansas City area.

One man even captured this video of a man trying to drive through a flooded road in a Kansas City neighborhood but became stuck.
Voluntary evacuations were ordered in the Indian Creek area after it received record rainfall.
Avoid the area near Indian Creek due to flooding: 103rd/State Line to Wornall, 99th/Holmes. Voluntary evacuations in impacted area.

The National Weather Service said that the Indian Creek area had reached 28.14 feet, which broke the record just set a few weeks ago.

On Tuesday, several schools and businesses were closed due to the flooding.

Local media reports that Kansas City emergency responders answered over 130 weather-related calls overnight.
