New Tropical Depression Forms In Atlantic

Tropical Depression Fourteen formed in the eastern Atlantic Thursday evening. It is expected to become Tropical Storm Lee by early Friday as it moves off to the west.

As of Thursday night, the storm had maximum sustained winds of 35 mph with a forward movement to the west at 22 mph. It it expected to slow down a little by Friday afternoon.

Tropical Depression Fourteen is expected to strengthen to a strong tropical storm or category one hurricane within the next 72 hours.

All eyes are on another tropical disturbance to the west that has a very high chance of becoming a tropical depression or tropical storm over the next few days.

Both storms do not pose an immediate threat to land.
