The train of moisture into the West has not ended yet and is expected to continue into this weekend. Snow has been seen from the coast into the mountains.
Winter Storm Watches and Warnings are numerous across the West, with some High Wind Warnings as well. Significant snow will continue to fall in the mountains, and wind gusts above 50 mph are possible.
Rain has been falling in much of California, with totals of 1″ to 3″ in the central areas of the state. Much more rain is ahead this week, with some areas seeing up to 6″. Flood Warnings and Watches remain in effect. In the mountains, 1 to 3 feet of snow is possible through the rest of the week.
