Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer says that they have been able to accommodate most of the people have tried to evacuate to his city.

“We have more hotel rooms than any city in America, about 120,000, but I think most of the hotels are pretty solidly booked at this point,” Dyer said.
Not only are Florida residents making their way to Orlando, but agencies have been using Orlando as a staging site. FEMA, the Red Cross, The Salvation Army and thousands of volunteers have all traveled to Orlando to help.
“We have a lot of people set up here,” Dyer said. “We are just an easy place to deploy from wherever the storm ends up hitting.”
