Reports of flash flooding are coming in from around the Denver-area, after heavy rain soaked parts of the Front Range this afternoon. Radar estimates suggest that up to two inches of rain fell just east of downtown Denver and caused flooding on 6th Street at the I-25 overpass.
Flash flooding has been reported near Fort Collins as well.
More rain is expected through the next couple of days and addition flash flooding a concern for most of the state. We’re keeping an eye on this developing story here at WeatherNation.
Below are a collection of images from social media that illustrate some of the flooding in the area.
