Puerto Rico National Guard Remove Wreckage, Deliver Supplies

Members of the Puerto Rico National Guard on September 28 assisted local officials in clearing wreckage from roads and delivering supplies in multiple municipalities in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.

This footage shows National Guard personnel removing debris from Punta Santiago in the Humacao municipality, and transporting supplies to the central municipality of Jayuya.

Most of Puerto Rico has been without power and limited communications since the storm. Food, water and gas have been in short supply.

Puerto Rico is in desperate need of help. WeatherNation spoke with one woman who has yet to hear from her family but is working with Agape Flights to get supplies out. Here she lists what supplies are most needed.
