January Thaw Under Way!

After a few bouts of brutally cold, Arctic air invasions as far south as the Gulf of Mexico and Central Florida, a thaw is now upon us for the southern half of the country.  Our jet stream pattern is flattening out a bit, allowing for warmer weather to return, especially for the Central Plains.  This will boost temperatures to nearly 10-20 degrees above average for this time of year for millions.  And it’s just in time for the weekend!  Let’s highlight some major metropolitan cities so you can plan your weekend.
