It has felt more like September than November around much of the eastern half of the United States. Record high temperatures have been felt from Wyoming to Florida, and anywhere in between.
It looks like the trend will continue through Saturday, as a ridge of high pressure dominates, but slowly breaks down.
We’re looking at the potential for nearly 40 record highs to be broken from now through Saturday.
