Dozens of record highs temperatures have been tied or broken the last few days and dozens more are likely to fall. Minneapolis has set record highs for three days in a row and another three may fall through Wednesday. So far this month, more than 2000 record highs have been set across the nation.

Record highs were widespread from the Upper Midwest into the Ohio Valley on Sunday.

The Northeast and Southeast saw several record highs fall on Sunday as well.

A ridge of high pressure will remain parked across the center of the country, keeping the warmth around through at least the middle of the week. The red dots below indicate potential record highs for the next few days.
