The Pacific Northwest can’t catch a break from the rain and snow that continues to parade into this region of the country. Although the soggy days might be a downer on your mood, it is what we expect to see with a La Niña pattern.
The rain and snow resurfaces Sunday afternoon and evening and doesn’t give up in Washington State until late Monday night. As soon as conditions dry out, another surge of moisture enters the region midday Tuesday.
Most of the moisture is expected to fall in the form of rain due to slightly warmer temperatures. However, if you have any travel plans over some of the higher elevations of the west, expect snow covered roads.
