Severe Storms Still Possible Overnight in the Upper Midwest

25 May 2021, 7:20 pm

The threat from severe storms through the UP of Michigan, through Wisconsin, and through Iowa will exist overnight tonight.

Large hail, greater than the size or quarters, and damaging wind gusts higher than 58 mph are the main threats. The risk for tornadoes appears low at this time.

A few storms fed by the low level jet stream could still maintain severe strength even in the late night hours into early Wednesday morning.
