Severe Weather Threat to Return This Weekend!
This weekend’s storm chance may start off quiet, but late Sunday, severe weather may ramp up. Parts of Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri are under a marginal or slight risk. The timing of the storms set up late in the afternoon and through the evening, with the main concern being damaging hail. A frontal system will slide through the plains late Sunday bringing the threat for severe weather.
Although far out, Monday also has a potential for severe weather, as the frontal system continues to move southeast across the plains and Mid-South. Storms shifting east could become severe in the Ark-La-Tex area.
We will continue to keep our eyes on the severe weather threat throughout the weekend
