More Snow Ahead for the Northwest Mountains
Heavy snow is ahead for the Northwest the next few days, especially through the mountains and Montana. Winter Storm Warnings extend from the northern Cascades east to Glacier National Park and south to Yosemite National Park. The highest elevations could see up to 2 feet of snow, with the foothills and valleys approaching a foot.
A front remains stalled over the region as another round of moisture is set to move into the area from the Pacific Ocean. Snowfall will increase tonight into Thursday, with accumulations becoming heavy.
