Snow Squall Causes Massive Pileup in New Hampshire

A sudden squall of heavy snow has caused a huge multi-car pileup near North Ashland, N.H. – in the northbound lanes of I-93, near exit 24 on Friday mooring.
There were 35 cars that were involved in the wreck, reports Boston TV station WCVB.
The twitter account for is suggesting motorists find alternate routs around the pileup as well.

Reports from social media indicate at least one of the vehicles involved in the wreck, caught fire.
“Several area fire departments are responding to the scene to assist with cleanup. No major injuries have been reported. Officials say they aren’t yet sure what time the road will re-open,” reports the New Hampshire Union Leader.
There were a number of injuries, but none were thought to be life-threatening.
