30 Inches of Snow Reported in Northern Montana

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Great Falls, Montana, confirmed Tuesday morning that 30 inches of snow fell in Rocky Boy.

Other impressive snow totals were also seen around the state.

Just to the north of Rocky Boy, Havre saw more than 15 inches of snow as of Tuesday morning.

This view shows as the snow began to fall in Havre on Monday afternoon.

As the snow continued, widespread power outages were reported.

The NWS says that power might not be restored for several more days.

All of the winter weather alerts that were issued for the area will expire at 12 p.m. MDT.
