Stubborn Southwest System

Our pesky cut-off low pressure system continues spinning along the coast of southern California, drawing up copious amounts of Pacific moisture and sending it across the southwest and southern plains. Wind gusts with this low overnight were clocked above 125 mph around Alpine Meadows, CA, and a record 1.6″ of rain in Phoenix shattered the old record 0.5″ for November 22. Over 2 FEET of snow has accumulated in the higher elevations of Utah and Colorado! Winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories stretch from the mountains outside Los Angeles and San Diego, all the way to Dallas and Oklahoma City. Are you prepped for nasty winter conditions?
