Halloween Temperatures
Some cold temperatures are in the forecast for parts of the High Plains and Upper Midwest!
Morning Lake Effect Snow for Parts of Michigan
Parts of the UP and Central Michigan are seeing lake effect snow showers this morning. Snowfall reports coming out of the UP are in the 5 to 8 inch range. The snow showers will be decreasing in coverage by the afternoon.
Heavy Rain Chances for the Texas Gulf Coast
A cold front moving through south Texas will have abundant moisture to work with and create scattered showers and thunderstorms for the Gulf Coast. There will be off and on times of heavy rain from Houston down to Brownsville. The severe risk will be low, but heavy rain could lead to low visibility and flash flooding for all the trick or treaters. There is a Marginal risk of severe weather for the Texas Coast Tuesday.
Severe Weather Risk for East Texas and Western Louisiana Wednesday
A Marginal Risk of severe weather is in the forecast for parts of Texas and Louisiana on Wednesday. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main weather threats, but there could be some isolated tornadoes to watch out for based on the wind profile of the atmosphere.
Heavy Rain Potential for the West Coast
A trough building over the eastern Pacific will bring increasing rain chances this week to California. Northern California could see some heavy rainfall with the potential of 2 to 4 inches through the weekend.
