Morning Rain and Snow in the Plains
Rain and even some light snow showers are moving through parts of Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas this morning. Accumulation should be minimal, but some slick roads will be possible.
More Rain for the Northwest
The Pacific moisture continues to stream into the Pacific Northwest on Tuesday and Wednesday. These showers and windy conditions could create some travel headaches for Seattle down to Portland.
Travel Weather for Thanksgiving
Precipitation in the Northwest and Florida over the next few days, but the rest of the U.S. should actually be rather quiet. No major weather makers for the rest of the week.
Record Warmth for the Southwest and High Plains
The weather pattern for Thanksgiving is looking unseasonably warm for a large portion of the country. Parts of Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, Nevada, California and Arizona could experience record highs by Thursday afternoon.
